Thanks so much, Katy! Even in my ignorance, I knew I was getting a deal  Your friendliness, manner, and willing to answer all questions made me feel comfortable from the start. I never had any qualms about doing business with someone I had never met or seen. I know we'll continue to talk, but, in case I forget, olease keep me in the loop when you get those machines from the collector you mentioned. I'm curious and I have the bug. Who knows, I may become a collector as well.

One more thing, Miss BB is solid. Can't believe how well made/put together she is. I now have a piece of art as well as a piece of history. There aren't many products on the market today that are 85+ years old and still prove to be a  workhorse.

Hi Katy!

She came out of the box a dream to crank. I got the ribbing going the first day…  then we got busy on the farm and it’s been tricky finding time to play. I haven’t done heels yet so that’s the next thing.  I have our fiber guild Christmas Party tonight and then I’ll be free to pop the video in again and figure this out.  It’ll be so good when I finally have a few favorite sock formula’s down.

I have played with some different yarns and am learning a little about that, when will I know it’s time to get the larger size needles for bigger yarn vs it just being me learning… I must admit, I haven’t wanted to do anything drastic to the tension setting since it was working so well when I started J  Maybe it’s time for a little learning adventure.

I purchased a refurbished sock machine from Katy, and could not be more

pleased with my machine and with Katy's follow up support.  I knew nothing

about how to run a sock machine when I made my purchase, and I live over

1500 miles from Iowa, so I was a little nervous!  The machine arrived on

schedule and with Katy's prompt help on-line, and plenty of practice on my

end, my machine is now knitting beautifully!  Katy has supported me

cheerfully and professionally when a problem arose, and now not only do I

have the fun of a new hobby, but also I feel like I have a new friend.
